Organizaci\u00f3n Latinoamericana de Capellanes y Defensores de Derechos Humanos (Orgalatin) envi\u00f3 un exhorto al Gobierno de Curazao de respetar los derechos de las personas migrantes tras una orden de la Corte Conjunta de Justicia (CCJ).<\/p>\n<p>El pasado 30 de julio, la CCJ, con jurisdicci\u00f3n en Aruba, Curazao y San Mart\u00edn pertenecientes al Reino de los Pa\u00edses Bajos, declar\u00f3 ilegales las detenciones a personas migrantes indocumentadas que ingresan a esas naciones del Caribe.<\/p>\n<p>La abogada Coromoto Ramos, activista de Orgalatin, calific\u00f3 el fallo del m\u00e1ximo tribunal como un avance hist\u00f3rico que obliga a Curazao y a las naciones de los Pa\u00edses Bajos del Caribe a cumplir con los tratados internacionales sobre derechos humanos.<\/p>\n<p>Explic\u00f3 que la sentencia se fundamenta sobre el derecho a la libertad, en atenci\u00f3n a lo establecido en el Convenio Europeo de Derechos Humanos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl tribunal dej\u00f3 claro que la pr\u00e1ctica habitual y autom\u00e1tica de detenciones a personas migrantes no puede ser nunca la norma, incluso de entradas irregulares al pa\u00eds\u201d, precis\u00f3 la abogada, citando parte de la decisi\u00f3n judicial.<\/p>\n<p>Ramos dijo que el fallo llega despu\u00e9s de varios a\u00f1os de denuncias presentadas por Amnist\u00eda Internacional sobre violaciones a los derechos humanos, principalmente contra migrantes venezolanos, v\u00edctimas por detenciones arbitrarias, tratos crueles y negativas de asilo.<\/p>\n<p>Refiri\u00f3 que en un comunicado, la organizaci\u00f3n Amnist\u00eda Internacional hizo un llamado de atenci\u00f3n al Gobierno de Curazao para que cumpla con el fallo del Tribunal de Justicia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOrgalatin pide a todos los organismos del mundo hacer respetar los derechos humanos de todos los ciudadanos venezolanos que huyen de su patria\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Cerca de 7,9 millones de personas han salido de Venezuela buscando protecci\u00f3n y una vida mejor, la mayor\u00eda (6,7 millones) reside en Colombia, Per\u00fa, Brasil, Chile y Ecuador, seg\u00fan la Agencia de la ONU para los refugiados (ACNUR)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNadie quiere dejar la naci\u00f3n donde est\u00e1n sus ra\u00edces, pero migrar no le da derecho a ning\u00fan pa\u00eds para incumplir con los tratados internacionales de derechos humanos\u201d, expres\u00f3 la abogada.<\/p>\n<p>Ramos declar\u00f3 que Orgalatin ve con benepl\u00e1cito el fallo de la Corte Conjunta de Justicia a favor de hacer respetar los derechos humanos de las personas migrantes y en especial de los ciudadanos venezolanos.<\/p>\n<p>La Corte Conjunta de Justicia es un tribunal supremo unificado con jurisdicci\u00f3n sobre seis islas del Caribe que forman parte del Reino de los Pa\u00edses Bajos: Aruba, Curazao, San Mart\u00edn, Bonaire, San Eustaquio y Saba.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La activista de
