{"id":11807,"date":"2020-03-31T14:05:32","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T14:05:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/noti-america.com\/site\/venezuela\/2020\/03\/31\/aumentan-casos-de-cancer-de-colon-en-venezuela\/"},"modified":"2020-03-31T18:05:38","modified_gmt":"2020-03-31T18:05:38","slug":"aumentan-casos-de-cancer-de-colon-en-venezuela","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/noti-america.com\/site\/venezuela\/2020\/03\/31\/aumentan-casos-de-cancer-de-colon-en-venezuela\/","title":{"rendered":"Aumentan casos de C\u00e1ncer de Colon en Venezuela"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>31 de marzo, D\u00eda Mundial de la lucha contra el c\u00e1ncer de colon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Aumentan casos de C\u00e1ncer de Colon en Venezuela<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-11808 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/noti-america.com\/site\/venezuela\/venezuela\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/03\/Dia-c\u00e1ncer-colon-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/noti-america.com\/site\/venezuela\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/03\/Dia-c\u00e1ncer-colon-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/noti-america.com\/site\/venezuela\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/03\/Dia-c\u00e1ncer-colon.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>**El presidente de la Sociedad Anticancerosa de Venezuela Dr. Cono Gumina advierte que durante los \u00faltimos cuatro a\u00f1os las cifras se mantienen en alza<\/em><\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En los \u00faltimos cuatro a\u00f1os, las tasas de mortalidad y de incidencia de casos de c\u00e1ncer de colon en Venezuela han registrado un incremento constante, tanto en hombres como en mujeres,\u00a0 por lo que urge tomar acciones para el diagn\u00f3stico oportuno que pueda reducir las estad\u00edsticas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As\u00ed se desprende del estudio \u201cPron\u00f3sticos de la Mortalidad e incidencia de c\u00e1ncer en Venezuela, a\u00f1o 2019\u201d, realizado por la Sociedad Anticancerosa de Venezuela (SAV),\u00a0 el Centro de Estad\u00edsticas y Matem\u00e1tica Aplicada de la Universidad Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar y la ONG HomoData.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A prop\u00f3sito del D\u00eda Mundial contra el C\u00e1ncer de Colon, que se celebra el 31 de marzo, el gastroenter\u00f3logo y presidente de la SAV Dr. Cono Gumina, quien lidera la alianza\u00a0 de este instituci\u00f3n con el Grupo M\u00e9dico Santa Paula (GMSP), advirti\u00f3 que\u00a0 a nivel mundial mueren diariamente unas 26 mil personas v\u00edctimas del c\u00e1ncer, entre las cuales se encuentran pacientes con c\u00e1ncer de colon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lament\u00f3 que en Venezuela durante los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os no se haya podido reducir las cifras de muertes ni las de de nuevos casos. \u201cEn la SAV trabajamos con modelos estad\u00edsticos junto con la Universidad Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar, y ello nos permite se\u00f1alar que en el a\u00f1o 2018 la mortalidad por c\u00e1ncer aument\u00f3 en un 10 % y la incidencia en un 17%.\u00a0 En cifras del 2019, la mortalidad aproximada es de 28 mil casos al a\u00f1o y la incidencia es de 64 mil nuevos casos.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Explic\u00f3 que mientras esto sucede en Venezuela, en otros pa\u00edses en los que hay acceso a diagn\u00f3stico precoz para tratamiento quir\u00fargico, radioterapia, quimioterapia y a rehabilitaci\u00f3n post tratamiento, se ha logrado reducir la mortalidad, aunque la incidencia se mantiene, seg\u00fan reporte Globocan (2018).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEn nuestro pa\u00eds, la primera causa de muerte por c\u00e1ncer en hombres es el de pr\u00f3stata, le sigue pulm\u00f3n y v\u00edas digestivas que engloba est\u00f3mago, col\u00f3n, recto e h\u00edgado. Mientras en la mujer, la primera causa es el c\u00e1ncer de mama, luego cuello uterino y en tercer lugar v\u00edas digestivas. En este grupo est\u00e1 el 65% a 70% de causas de muertes por c\u00e1ncer\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Advierte el experto que todos estos tipos de c\u00e1nceres son a los que m\u00e1s se les puede hacer diagn\u00f3stico precoz, por ello la importancia de educar y concientizar. \u201cEst\u00e1 totalmente demostrado que el c\u00e1ncer cuanto m\u00e1s precoz\u00a0 es su diagn\u00f3stico,\u00a0 es curable\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Cifras del c\u00e1ncer del col\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A nivel mundial hasta el a\u00f1o 2018 el c\u00e1ncer colorrectal representaba el tercero en incidencia en ambos sexos, despu\u00e9s de c\u00e1ncer de pulm\u00f3n y mama, \u00a0y en algunos pa\u00edses como Espa\u00f1a, \u00a0es el tumor m\u00e1s frecuente y el segundo que m\u00e1s muertes provoca, a pesar de que en la mayor\u00eda de las ocasiones se cura si es detectado a tiempo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Estas son las principales cifras del c\u00e1ncer de colon\u00a0 para el 2019 seg\u00fan \u00a0el estudio realizado por la SAV, la USB y Homodata en Venezuela:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Es diagnosticado con mayor frecuencia en la poblaci\u00f3n \u00a0femenina entre 45-54 a\u00f1os \u00a0y en el caso de los hombres entre los 55 y 64 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; El mayor n\u00famero de decesos se produce en hombres y mujeres\u00a0 cuando tienen m\u00e1s de 74 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; \u00a0Las tasas estandarizadas estimadas de mortalidad\u00a0 aumentaron en los \u00faltimos cuatro a\u00f1os de forma permanente tanto en hombres\u00a0 como en mujeres: 2016 (6.81 Hombres\/5.68 mujeres), 2017 (6.89 Hombres\/5.71 mujeres), 2018 (6.96 Hombres\/5.75 mujeres), 2019 (7.04 Hombres\/5.78
