Rains and floods in Spain due to DANA

The isolated depression at high levels (DANA in Spanish) produced more than 9,000 lightning discharges and generalized rains in areas of the Community of Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León and Navarra during the first hours of Wednesday, according to the Spanish Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

At the moment the damage has only been of a material nature, including a section of the roof of the Amazon company plant in Illescas, Toledo.

Lluvias e inundaciones en España debido a DANA

La depresión aislada en niveles altos (DANA) produjo más de 9.000 descargas de rayos y lluvias generalizadas en zonas de la Comunidad de Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León y Navarra durante las primeras horas del miércoles, según la Agencia Española de Meteorología ( Aemet).

De momento el daño solo ha sido de índole material, incluyendo una sección de la cubierta de la planta de la empresa Amazon en Illescas, Toledo.
