Henry Gonz\u00e1lez es anunciado por la Federaci\u00f3n Dominicana de B\u00e9isbol (FEDOM) como el nuevo gerente general del seleccionado que representar\u00e1 al pa\u00eds en Premier 12, evento que se llevar\u00e1 a cabo del 12 y hasta el 24 de noviembre en China Taipei.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">La informaci\u00f3n fue dada a conocer por el propio titular de la FEDOM, Juan N\u00fa\u00f1ez, quien valor\u00f3 la gran labor que viene realizando Henry Gonz\u00e1lez desde las oficinas de la MLB en la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">\u201cHenry, es un hombre de deportes, un l\u00edder comunitario, un gran conocedor del b\u00e9isbol, y basados en su experiencia desde las oficinas de MLB y fuera de esta, estamos conscientes que \u00e9l podr\u00e1 conformar el equipo que necesitamos para esta tercera versi\u00f3n de Premier 12\u201d, dijo Juan N\u00fa\u00f1ez Nepomuceno, presidente de FEDOM.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">\u201cDesde la FEDOM estamos muy entusiasmados con esta designaci\u00f3n, porque es un dominicano que nos llena de orgullo, su trabajo le ha abierto las puertas para escalar y representarnos como lo est\u00e1 haciendo hasta el momento en operaciones internacionales de la Mayor League\u201d, manifest\u00f3 N\u00fa\u00f1ez Nepomuceno.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">\u201cEstamos m\u00e1s que agradecidos de la Federaci\u00f3n Dominicana de B\u00e9isbol, en la persona del Se\u00f1or Juan N\u00fa\u00f1ez por la oportunidad, desde ya estamos trabajando de manera incansable para crear el mejor equipo tanto dentro como fuera del terreno\u201d, expres\u00f3 Gonz\u00e1lez.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">As\u00ed mismo agreg\u00f3 que, \u201cestaremos trabajando con las diferentes instituciones\/personas del pa\u00eds para tener la mejor representaci\u00f3n posible\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\"><strong>Acerca de Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">Hijo de la Isabela, Pantoja en Santo Domingo, es un ex-jugador profesional que llev\u00f3 su juego a otro nivel, es graduado de la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Santo Domingo (UASD) con una licenciatura en Lenguas Modernas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">Gonz\u00e1lez, posee 12 a\u00f1os de experiencia dentro de la organizaci\u00f3n de la Mayor League Baseball (MLB) en la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, actualmente se desempe\u00f1a como director de operaciones internacionales de la MLB.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">Adem\u00e1s, ocup\u00f3 funciones en el departamento de desarrollo para Latinoam\u00e9rica de MLB, especializ\u00e1ndose en diferentes aspectos del juego, el dominicano adem\u00e1s trabaj\u00f3 durante siete a\u00f1os en la Fundaci\u00f3n Clinton del ex-presidente de los Estados Unidos, Bill Clinton.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">Premier 12 es un evento organizado por la Confederaci\u00f3n Mundial de B\u00e9isbol y Softbol (WBSC, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), que re\u00fane a las 12 mejores naciones del ranking mundial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">La Rep\u00fablica Dominicana qued\u00f3 en el Grupo B, que jugar\u00e1 en China Taipei y se har\u00e1 acompa\u00f1ar de las novenas de Jap\u00f3n (1), Corea (4), China Taipei (5), tambi\u00e9n Cuba (8) y Australia (11).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">Los dominicanos har\u00e1n su debut en Premier 12 el mi\u00e9rcoles 13 de noviembre ante el combinado de Cuba en el Taipei Tianmu Baseball Stadium, en el distrito de Shilin en la ciudad de Taipei.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">En las primeras dos ediciones de Premier 12, en 2015 la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana ocup\u00f3 el puesto n\u00famero 11 y para el 2019 que se realiz\u00f3 la segunda versi\u00f3n los dominicanos compartieron el lugar n\u00famero siete (7) junto con Venezuela y Canad\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\"><strong>Fuente: Prensa FEDOM<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NOTI-AMERICA.COM |\u00a0REP\u00daBLICA DOMINICANA SANTO DOMINGO &#8211;
