En total, Per\u00fa reporta 17 casos confirmados en lo que va del a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Este escenario se enmarca en una tendencia regional cr\u00edtica. Durante el a\u00f1o 2025, se confirmaron 14.891 casos de sarampi\u00f3n en las Am\u00e9ricas. En las primeras semanas de 2026, ya se reportan m\u00e1s de 1.031 casos en pa\u00edses como Bolivia, Canad\u00e1, Estados Unidos, M\u00e9xico, Chile, Guatemala y Uruguay.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A la fecha, Ecuador no registra casos confirmados de sarampi\u00f3n, ya sean aut\u00f3ctonos o importados. Sin embargo, debido al alto flujo migratorio, comercial y tur\u00edstico, el riesgo de importaci\u00f3n del virus es latente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">El MSP, mantiene una coordinaci\u00f3n estrecha con las autoridades peruanas y organismos regionales para monitorear la situaci\u00f3n y garantizar la seguridad sanitaria.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">El sarampi\u00f3n es una enfermedad altamente contagiosa que puede derivar en complicaciones graves como ceguera, neumon\u00eda o encefalitis. La vacunaci\u00f3n es la \u00fanica protecci\u00f3n efectiva, en lo que va del 2026 se han aplicado 205.170 dosis contra sarampi\u00f3n protegiendo a diferentes grupos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Se exhorta a la poblaci\u00f3n a acudir a los centros de salud seg\u00fan el siguiente esquema:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u2013 Beb\u00e9s (6 a 11 meses) \u2013 \u00abDosis Cero\u00bb: Aplicaci\u00f3n excepcional en provincias con alta migraci\u00f3n: Carchi, Esmeraldas, Sucumb\u00edos, Orellana, Loja, Zamora Chinchipe, El Oro y Gal\u00e1pagos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u2013 Viajeros internacionales: Vacunarse 15 d\u00edas antes de viajar a pa\u00edses con transmisi\u00f3n activa, incluyendo Per\u00fa, Argentina, EE.
