style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">Representantes de distintas organizaciones plantearon la necesidad de crear una ley para disminuir la p\u00e9rdida y desperdicio de alimentos en toda la cadena productiva, agroindustrial y comercial.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">La solicitud fue planteada durante el Primer Encuentro Venezolano sobre P\u00e9rdida y Desperdicio de Alimentos, organizado por el <a href=\"https:\/\/noti-america.com\/site\/venezuela\/2025\/09\/26\/foro-sobre-desperdicio-de-alimentos-organizan-en-la-ucv\/\"><em><strong>Banco Alimentar de Venezuela (BAV),<\/strong><\/em><\/a> en la Facultad de Ciencias Econ\u00f3micas y Sociales de la UCV.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">Representantes de la Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas para la Alimentaci\u00f3n y la Agricultura (FAO), UCV, C\u00e1mara Venezolana de la Industria de Alimentos (Cavidea) y la Sociedad de Ingenieros Agr\u00f3nomos y Afines (Sviaa), respaldaron la propuesta.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">Al encuentro asisti\u00f3 el director del Programa Mundial de Alimentos en Venezuela (WFP), Andr\u00e9s Rodr\u00edguez.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">La presidenta del Banco Alimentar de Venezuela, Marianela Fernandes, explic\u00f3 que BAV es una desperdicio de alimentos (Cortes\u00eda)<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">Inform\u00f3 que realizar\u00e1n una jornada de recolecci\u00f3n de alimentos en los mercados los pr\u00f3ximos 29 y 30 de noviembre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">\u201cEn el mundo uno de cada tres alimentos se pierden y el objetivo del BAV es apoyar las metas globales de la ONU, entre ellas el hambre\u201d, dijo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">Sa\u00fal El\u00edas L\u00f3pez, presidente de la Sviaa, alert\u00f3 que en Venezuela se pierden aproximadamente seis mil toneladas de alimentos al mes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">Indic\u00f3 que la mayor parte de estas p\u00e9rdidas ocurren en el sector primario (producci\u00f3n agr\u00edcola) debido a las faltas de mejores pr\u00e1cticas en las cosechas y a deficiencias en la cadena de log\u00edstica y comercializaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">Juvenal Arvel\u00e1ez, presidente de Cavidea, respald\u00f3 la propuesta de legislar y a\u00f1adi\u00f3 la necesidad de superar las dificultades log\u00edsticas provocadas por las lluvias en el pa\u00eds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">Asimismo, inst\u00f3 a los
