Por cuanto el CBCS denunci\u00f3 que se hab\u00edan utilizados documentos falsos y al constatar que la posici\u00f3n financiera del Banco del Orinoco (BDO) era deplorable y que el supuesto patrimonio que presentaba dicho banco ante el Banco Central de Curazao (CBCS) fue considerado por los auditores inexistente, raz\u00f3n por la cual, el CBCS estableci\u00f3 \u00a0que los activos de la instituci\u00f3n eran sumamente limitados, mientras que, por otro lado, las deudas que ten\u00eda eran sustanciales. De esta denuncia, que se hizo ante el Fiscal Gianos de Curazao, solamente se recuerda su apertura.<\/p>\n<p>Por otra parte, actuando en representaci\u00f3n de varios ahorristas domiciliados en la Rep\u00fablica Bolivariana de Venezuela y de la \u00a0Asociaci\u00f3n Civil <strong>\u201cUSUARIOS AFECTADOS BOD FALCON, ASOCIACION CIVIL\u201c, <\/strong>domiciliada en la ciudad de Punto Fijo, Estado Falc\u00f3n, Venezuela, denunci\u00e9 en fecha 17 de abril de 2023, ante la Fiscal\u00eda General de la Rep\u00fablica de Venezuela, a cuya cabeza se encuentra el Fiscal General Tarek William Saab, acerca de las irregularidades del Banco del Orinoco NV. Dicha denuncia est\u00e1 sumada a las innumerables que existen por ante el Ministerio P\u00fablico de Venezuela, sin soluci\u00f3n alguna, en este caso, se inform\u00f3 que los fondos de los ahorristas fueron captados en Venezuela por el Banco Occidental de Descuento Banco Universal, quien, atribuy\u00e9ndose el papel de Holding, coloc\u00f3 los ahorros divisas en el Banco del Orinoco NV de Curazao, mediante una campa\u00f1a de captaci\u00f3n de fondos, inform\u00e1ndole a nuestros clientes que dicho banco era una instituci\u00f3n s\u00f3lida y que estaba sujeto a la supervisi\u00f3n estricta del Banco Central de Curazao y de la Comunidad Europea; siendo as\u00ed y en base a esta confianza hubo el acuerdo de la intermediaci\u00f3n financiera. Tambi\u00e9n se denunci\u00f3, entre otras cosas, que resultaba grav\u00edsimo el hecho de que el Banco Occidental de Descuento (BOD), no estaba autorizado a recibir ning\u00fan tipo de fondos para ser manejados por el Banco del Orinoco NV, como lo afirm\u00f3 la Superintendencia de las Instituciones del Sector Bancario en Venezuela (SUDEBAN), en providencia Nro. \u00a0SIB-DSB-CJ-OD-13321, de fecha 09 de agosto de 2016, en la cual decret\u00f3 que el Banco Occidental de Descuento no estaba facultado para actuar en intermediaci\u00f3n financiera, en el territorio de la Rep\u00fablica Bolivariana de Venezuela.<\/p>\n<p>La inactividad de las Fiscal\u00edas de Curazao y Venezuela, ubican a los d\u00e9biles jur\u00eddicos, que son los ahorristas, en una situaci\u00f3n de indefensi\u00f3n y resulta muy grave que en la ciudad de Maracaibo los denunciantes de estos hechos terminaron judicializados y detenidos.
