Pedro Rivas, director general de Mercado Pago, detall\u00f3 que al menos 30 por ciento de estos clientes son nuevos usuarios del sistema financiero.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLes estamos ofreciendo una tarjeta de cr\u00e9dito por primera vez. Creemos que el financiamiento es un arma potente para que la gente tenga varias alternativas\u201d, dijo el directivo en conferencia de prensa.<\/p>\n<p>La l\u00ednea promedio de financiamiento es 10 mil pesos y el ticket promedio en compras es por alrededor de 600 pesos, seg\u00fan Rivas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEn M\u00e9xico cerca del 25 por ciento de la gente tiene una tarjeta de cr\u00e9dito, es decir, hay una tarjeta por cada dos habitantes, mientras que en Brasil hay 2.5 tarjetas por cada persona. Vemos que hay un espacio muy grande en inclusi\u00f3n y herramientas financieras, como la tarjeta de cr\u00e9dito\u201d, puntualiz\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado, el ejecutivo destac\u00f3 que pese a los movimientos en la tasa de referencia del Banco de M\u00e9xico (Banxico), las tasas de rendimiento que ofrecen las fintech a sus usuarios seguir\u00e1n por arriba del promedio que dan las instituciones bancarias tradicionales.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHoy estamos por encima del 10 por ciento y creemos que es una tendencia que se va a quedar, antes la mayor parte de los usuarios antes no ten\u00edan rendimientos por su ahorro.
