Desde entonces, Washington ha enviado cientos de miles de toneladas de medicinas y alimentos principalmente a la frontera colombiana para asistir a la poblaci\u00f3n venezolana.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\">El gobierno en disputa de Nicol\u00e1s Maduro, sin embargo, ha obstaculizado su ingreso.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Como en oportunidades anteriores, el personal del Comfort trabajar\u00e1 junto a m\u00e9dicos de las naciones que lo recibir\u00e1n y a las que han llegado miles de migrantes venezolanos.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\">El Comando Sur no detall\u00f3 cu\u00e1les ser\u00e1n los puertos en los que anclar\u00e1 el barco.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La \u00faltima misi\u00f3n del Comfort en la regi\u00f3n fue entre octubre y diciembre, cuando complet\u00f3 once semanas de asistencia m\u00e9dica en Ecuador, Per\u00fa, Colombia y Honduras. En esa oportunidad, asisti\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de 26.700 pacientes, incluyendo 599 que fueron sometidos a cirug\u00edas a bordo de la embarcaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Al igual que sucedi\u00f3 anteriormente, a partir de junio los equipos m\u00e9dicos del barco ofrecer\u00e1n asistencia en la embarcaci\u00f3n y en centros m\u00e9dicos locales para llevar alivio a los sistemas m\u00e9dicos de los pa\u00edses.
