La ceremonia fue encabezada por el alcalde Mauricio Rodas quien cumple su \u00faltimo a\u00f1o de gesti\u00f3n al frente de la capital de los ecuatorianos.<\/p>\n<p>En su alocuci\u00f3n, el Primer Mandatario evoc\u00f3 a la urbe capitalina como una conjugaci\u00f3n de lo moderno con lo colonial, lo cosmopolita con lo aldeano. lo cultural, lo hist\u00f3rico, lo social, lo deportivo, con cada uno de sus habitantes. Por esta raz\u00f3n insisti\u00f3 que deben trabajar conjuntamente el gobierno central, gobiernos locales, empresa privada y sociedad civil para construir aquellas ciudades en las que todos so\u00f1amos vivir, Es as\u00ed que desde el primer d\u00eda se brind\u00f3 todo el apoyo a Mauricio Rodas para construir el Quito que queremos.<\/p>\n<p>Como muestra cit\u00f3 que s\u00f3lo en este a\u00f1o se asignaron a la capital 332 millones de d\u00f3lares para que el Municipio realice las obras m\u00e1s urgentes. Como Gobierno se han invertido en la ciudad 1.820 millones de d\u00f3lares, incluidos los cr\u00e9ditos del banco de Desarrollo.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, durante estos 18 meses, se han financiado m\u00e1s del 50% del Metro de Quito, a trav\u00e9s de pr\u00e9stamos y garant\u00edas soberanas. La obra tiene m\u00e1s del 80% de avance. En cuanto a la construcci\u00f3n de ciudades m\u00e1s seguras, el Mandatario precis\u00f3 que gracias al trabajo de la polic\u00eda se han reducido 30% los femicidios en Quito y desarticulado en el pa\u00eds 144 organizaciones delictivas.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, Quito cuenta, desde abril de este a\u00f1o, con la nueva Unidad de Vigilancia Comunitaria Eugenio Espejo con personal comprometido con la gente y se planifica instalar, 16 nuevas Unidades de Polic\u00eda Comunitaria, hasta el 2021.<\/p>\n<p>En este marco, el Presidente Moreno hizo dos importantes anuncios para la capital. El primero, tiene que ver con la movilidad y el transporte. Se trata del \u201cMetrof\u00e9rico de Quito\u201d, que conectar\u00e1 el parque La Carolina con el aeropuerto internacional Mariscal Sucre. La ruta pasar\u00e1 por la avenida Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar, San Juan de Cumbay\u00e1 Alto, el centro de Cumbay\u00e1, San Pedro, Tumbaco, la Ruta Viva, Puembo, hasta el aeropuerto en Tababela.<\/p>\n<p>El Metrof\u00e9rico tendr\u00e1 dos fases. la primera: desde La Carolina hasta Tumbaco con una inversi\u00f3n de $320 millones de d\u00f3lares, y la segunda fase, de Tumbaco a Tababela, con una inversi\u00f3n de $280 millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa gran noticia es que ser\u00e1 financiado, totalmente, por la empresa privada, sin que al estado le cueste \u00a1un solo centavo! y lo mejor: en 14 meses, los quite\u00f1os podr\u00e1n transportarse en el Metrof\u00e9rico m\u00e1s largo del mundo\u201d, expres\u00f3 el Primer Mandatario.<\/p>\n<p>El segundo mensaje, se origina tambi\u00e9n en La Carolina. Aqu\u00ed se crear\u00e1 un gran centro de innovaci\u00f3n y emprendimiento donde ahora es el Centro de Exposiciones Quito. Estar\u00e1n a total disposici\u00f3n, las m\u00e1s modernas herramientas dise\u00f1adas para emprender e innovar.<\/p>\n<p>En esta edificaci\u00f3n habr\u00e1 un abanico de opciones de financiamiento, asesor\u00eda t\u00e9cnica, contactos con centros internacionales afines a su emprendimiento, encuentros con potenciales inversionistas, grandes empresarios dando conferencias, asesor\u00eda y m\u00faltiples capacitaciones.
