{"id":13733,"date":"2024-02-23T23:57:58","date_gmt":"2024-02-23T23:57:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/noti-america.com\/site\/colombia\/?p=13733"},"modified":"2024-02-27T00:00:05","modified_gmt":"2024-02-27T00:00:05","slug":"pacientes-con-enfermedades-huerfanas-buscan-garantizar-su-derecho-a-una-atencion-integral","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/noti-america.com\/site\/colombia\/2024\/02\/23\/pacientes-con-enfermedades-huerfanas-buscan-garantizar-su-derecho-a-una-atencion-integral\/","title":{"rendered":"Pacientes con enfermedades hu\u00e9rfanas buscan garantizar su derecho a una atenci\u00f3n integral"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NOTI-AMERICA | COLOMBIA<\/p>\n<p>Cada a\u00f1o el \u00faltimo domingo de febrero se realiza un encuentro para conmemorar el d\u00eda mundial de enfermedades hu\u00e9rfanas en Colombia, promovido por las asociaciones de pacientes con patolog\u00edas poco frecuentes.\u00a0 En la versi\u00f3n n\u00famero 16 de este evento que se realizar\u00e1 en el Parque de los Novios en Bogot\u00e1 los pacientes y familias estar\u00e1n rodeados de representantes de diversos sectores sociales que apoyan sus necesidades integrales de atenci\u00f3n que incluyen 5 pilares:\u00a0 equidad, inclusi\u00f3n, educaci\u00f3n, cuidado y reconocimiento.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con Luz Victoria Salazar, presidenta del Consejo Directivo de ENHU, organizador de este encuentro \u201cResulta imperativo capitalizar los logros y reivindicaciones alcanzadas por esta poblaci\u00f3n que supera los 92 mil pacientes seg\u00fan los registros del Ministerio de Salud. Son pacientes que tienen una lucha compleja todos los d\u00edas, al igual que sus familias para recuperar su salud. El 25 de febrero queremos rendir un homenaje a su tenacidad y fortaleza como grupo social cohesionado que tiene necesidades particulares de atenci\u00f3n integral\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Es necesario reconocer y atender los derechos de esta poblaci\u00f3n amparada por una robusta legislaci\u00f3n que inicia con la ley 1382 sancionada en el a\u00f1o 2010. El recorrido del movimiento asociativo en Colombia ha contribuido a su reconocimiento y visibilidad de estos pacientes considerados sujetos de especial protecci\u00f3n por parte del Estado, de acuerdo con la ley estatutaria de 2015, Retos como el diagn\u00f3stico temprano, la continuidad de los tratamientos y su financiaci\u00f3n contin\u00faan siendo importantes desaf\u00edos para esta colectividad, agreg\u00f3 la presidenta del consejo directivo del Observatorio ENHU.<\/p>\n<p>A prop\u00f3sito de esta conmemoraci\u00f3n, la doctora Marcela G\u00e1lvez, presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n Colombiana de Gen\u00e9tica Humana manifest\u00f3 la importancia de seguir trabajando por la protecci\u00f3n de los pacientes en materia de diagn\u00f3stico preciso a trav\u00e9s de pruebas gen\u00e9ticas disponibles y cubiertas por el sistema de salud, as\u00ed como la necesidad de que aquellas terapias avanzadas que tengan una indicaci\u00f3n clara y un beneficio evidente para ciertas patolog\u00edas est\u00e9n disponibles para los pacientes que las requieran.<\/p>\n<p>El objetivo del evento organizado por el Observatorio ENHU, es visibilizar ese universo complejo que viven los pacientes y que va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de lo sanitario. Comenzando por el <strong>reconocimiento<\/strong> de la poblaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de leyes, normas y decretos que protejan sus necesidades y reivindiquen su papel en la sociedad. Por su parte <strong>la equidad<\/strong> que busca garantizar que todos tengan las mismas oportunidades a la hora de acceder a servicios de salud, a los recursos necesarios, a los programas de detecci\u00f3n temprana, a la investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica inclusive al apoyo psicol\u00f3gico y a los espacios de bienestar.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con Germ\u00e1n Molina, miembro del ENHU: \u201cLa <strong>educaci\u00f3n<\/strong> representa un aspecto fundamental para lograr el empoderamiento de los pacientes, la formaci\u00f3n de cuidadores que les permita desempe\u00f1ar su rol efectivamente, as\u00ed como una sociedad con menos estigmas y una comunidad m\u00e9dica actualizada que contribuya a disminuir los tiempos de diagn\u00f3stico que es uno de los desaf\u00edos m\u00e1s grandes en enfermedades hu\u00e9rfanas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>En materia de <strong>inclusi\u00f3n<\/strong> los pacientes contin\u00faan enfrent\u00e1ndose a dificultades en materia de educaci\u00f3n inclusiva, requiriendo con urgencia un ambiente de aprendizaje seguro, acogedor, colaborador y estimulante, independientemente de su patolog\u00eda.
