Y la dieta antiinflamatoria ser\u00eda el complemento ideal para conseguir una reducci\u00f3n del dolor, especialmente en pacientes cr\u00f3nicos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00abUna siesta de 20 minutos ha demostrado que puede revertir los cambios en la percepci\u00f3n del dolor inducidos por la falta de sue\u00f1o, lo cual es significativo para comprender c\u00f3mo el descanso corto puede influir positivamente en la regulaci\u00f3n del dolor\u00bb, explica la doctora H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Bastuji, investigadora del Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n de Neurociencia de Lyon (Francia).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">En cambio, la falta de sue\u00f1o produce el efecto contrario, reduce la tolerancia. \u00abLos cambios en la cantidad y calidad del sue\u00f1o durante la noche en un individuo influyen en el dolor experimentado al d\u00eda siguiente\u00bb, asegura la doctora Bastuji. Por ese motivo, los expertos reunidos en Le\u00f3n consideran que mejorar la calidad del sue\u00f1o podr\u00eda ser una estrategia efectiva en el tratamiento del dolor cr\u00f3nico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Un reciente estudio publicado en \u2018Journal of Neuroscience\u2019 explor\u00f3 c\u00f3mo la p\u00e9rdida de sue\u00f1o afecta la percepci\u00f3n del dolor a nivel cerebral. En la fase de seguimiento, los hallazgos revelaron que incluso variaciones menores en la calidad y duraci\u00f3n del sue\u00f1o de una noche a otra pueden influir en la sensibilidad al dolor al d\u00eda siguiente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Estos hallazgos indican que mejorar la calidad del sue\u00f1o puede reducir la percepci\u00f3n del dolor, sino que tambi\u00e9n optimiza la capacidad del cuerpo para modularlo de manera efectiva, apunta el doctor Luis Garc\u00eda-Larrea, presidente de la Federaci\u00f3n Europea del Dolor (EFIC).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00abEs importante un buen descanso nocturno para la gesti\u00f3n del malestar. Las personas que duermen peor tienen m\u00e1s dolor. Esto subraya la necesidad de abordar los problemas del sue\u00f1o como parte integral del manejo del dolor\u00bb, revela.
